Rendering

When you thought you had arrived

finally

at the clear-eyed acceptance

of loss,

a breeze rocks the heavy

fruit,

and quivering,

you remain.

But even in fear you are

marvelous,

bursting with light,

holding a perfect reflection

of the world that holds you

and yet,

still,

you remain.

Let the wind blow,

for you travel always within a generous

storm, unwinding as the

universe

within you.

Each spinning bond shivers with light,

the same that holds planets

and forests

and particles,

soaking all things in a ruthless

and inescapable

love.

When you see yourself fall as

this fractaling shower,

an unfolding world complete —

release

renders

reunion —

and as you

let go,

you remain.
