Summoned, the storm
charges over the mountains
sending ahead of its dense burden
a chill wind
crowding the blue
with grey
billowing quilts
and you realize we have all
done this
to a clear day
or scowled at
a storm
with our own
darkness
even as it
turns back the covers
for an untroubled
sky
and in moving aside
reveals
how to embellish
the light.
